well i had a lovely relaxing day yesterday, not a scrap of anything even remotely sewing related, was wined and dined on the top of a mountain (and thats all you're getting :-P) :-) :-) :-)
today i awoke thinking i should pull digit and get a few things on the drawing board...literally...
while recovering from fore mentioned accident i got A LOT of stitcheries done, not much else to do when you're flat on your back for a month then stuck in a chair for another two..broken spines are such tedious things..i indulged my brenda ryan fetish and most of what i did was hers, plus a few smaller bronnie hayes ones, all now waiting to be put together into actual 'items'..
yes, one day i'll post a pic of my UFO box..boxes..crates..shipping containers...
what most of you dont know is i design my own..lots of my own..and when the accident happened i'd already stitched most that were ready to go, or couldnt stand at the printer enlarging and stuffing around to get others ready for trace off..but i've been re-visiting my numerous folders of potential stitcheries and honestly, most just aren't what i'm 'into' at the mo..so its about time to put pencil to paper and design some fresh new ones..if i could only find where i hid my damn mojo!!
this sketch book is so BARE...have tried doodling a few flowers and cutsie creatures down the sides and n.o.t.h.i.n.g.!!!..usually works but the space in the middle is still blank..hmmmm...
maybe i should do a cop out and just rework something already in the folders..might lead to something..sigh..or maybe i'll go do the washing.. :-(

pami learns to cyber stitch..
look at this, i can sew while i get square eyes!!

today was an icky one...began with a horrible noise from the bathroom, like a loud whooshy sound, ran to the door just in time to see stinky water spray out in a huge tower all over the place..turns out urban utilities were in the street clearing sewerage pipes and there mustve beena blockage right before my connection...had to go somewhere..MY @#$#%@$#% CEILING!!!!!!...so at 7:30am i had three burly urban utilities blokes cleaning my foul bathroom from top to bottom, didnt let them stop til they ran out of disinfectant..and i buy the cheap arse HUGE bottles!!!!!...shoulda got a pic..couldnt convince them they had to vacumm and hang out the washing too...but i TRIED!!!!! :-P
then my home help guy turned up a few hours later (got run over in feb and have a stuffed back), got him to redo the bathroom ( :-)) ) then he did my kitchen til it shone..he'd been gone all of 10 minutes when F-Cat ran in with yet another huge lizard and turned my kitchen floor into an icky mess..thanks dougal!!..so i had to mop too!!..
i would like to tell you i did REAL sewing but since i've just copyrighted 'cyber stitch' techniques i can smile!!
oh, and i dont know if i can post pics yet, i dont think the inner technophobe has come that far, but i'll try..if it works, this is for you fiona.. :-) :-) :-)

taa daa!!!...my very first blog post...
..well hello!!..first up may i say i have been harrassed/abused/bullied and near beat up to pull the digit and get my own blog..so if my blog totally suks and bores you to tears you shall blame *OTHERS* whom shall remain nameless (til i learn how to post links)..
..i don't 'do' technology - we dont get along!!..i have a lappy which hates me, i have an iphone which hates me..even my navman is bloody nasty!!..i don't do facebook or twitter..this is not where my talents lie..
..i do other stuff..lots of other stuff..or at the very least i procrastinate about what other stuff to do...all in all i stay nearly busy..
i'm a fulltime mummy and they never let me forget it, i have a cat named dougal (or on a bad day like today, F-Cat) who finds unique and offensive ways to make sure i never dare forget him, i have a pretty b*tch of a car, i have elderly parents..and im happily single..well until 'The One' eventuates..in the meantime i date a lot of nice young men who will never be 'The One' but keep me amused..
it was probably a bad day to start my blog coz today i did squat!!..well sort of, i could lie and exagerate about the 5mins of housework, flicking thru magazines, the solitary ohio star block i stitched together then went back to the magazines, the 3mins i sat on the edge of my bed and thought i should hang up my new curtains then back to the magazines, the nap from reading too many magazines..i did squat..i did have a bloodtest..so i wasnt home ALL day, but nothing exciting like going fabric shopping etc..
tomorrow i'll do more sewing...watch this space!!..
